Process a media file

Works with the files your browser can play: MP4, WebM, MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and FLAC (MOV and MKV in most browsers). Keep this tab open and in front while it works.

Please only process media you own or have permission to use. Your file stays on your device.

How to process audio or video

  1. Select an audio or video file, then choose Convert, Trim, Mute, Extract audio, Compress or Resize.
  2. Fill in the settings shown for your chosen operation. For trimming, use seconds for the start point and duration.
  3. Select Process file. Video work happens while the clip plays inside the page, so keep the tab open and in front. When the download link appears, save and check the output.

Tips: trim long videos first, so the other steps take less time. Chrome and Edge save MP4; some browsers save WebM instead. MP3, OGG, MOV, MKV and AVI files need the Kitwise server.
