Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026. This policy explains what (“we”) does with data when you use Kitwise. Questions: .
1. The short version
- You do not need an account. Most tools run inside your browser and your text, photos and files never leave your device.
- Server tools (OCR, the AI tools, and a few fallbacks such as MP3 output or files the browser cannot read) upload the file you choose, process it, and give you the result. PDF tools, Word/Excel/PowerPoint to PDF and the video and audio tools run in your browser. The website audit and web-to-PDF tools send the web address you type to our server, which then visits that public page for you.
- We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell personal data.
- Free pages show ads from Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show and measure ads (section 7). Visitors with a paid licence key see no ads. We do not sell personal data.
2. Browser-only tools
Tools labelled “Runs in your browser” (text, developer, calculators, Urdu & Pakistan tools, image compress / resize / convert, photo metadata, file checksum and others) work locally with JavaScript. Their inputs are not sent to our server. Saved tools, recent tools and your licence key are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
3. Server tools and uploaded files
When you use a server tool, the file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed in a temporary folder and removed automatically after the result is delivered or after processing fails. Files are not read by people. Do not upload documents you are not allowed to share.
3a. Website audit and web-to-PDF
These two tools send only the web address you enter. Our server visits that public page (plus its robots.txt, sitemap and up to 15 of its links for the audit), produces the report or PDF and does not keep the page content. Local and private network addresses are refused.
4. AI tools
If an AI tool is enabled and you use it, the text you submit (or text extracted from your PDF) is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) only to produce your result. Other tools do not send your data to AI providers.
5. Usage limits and network address
To apply the free daily and monthly limits without accounts, we derive an anonymous identifier from your network (IP) address using a one-way hash with a secret key, and count tasks against it. Our hosting provider and web server may also keep ordinary server logs (IP address, time, page) for security and troubleshooting.
6. Payments
Card and PayPal payments (when enabled) are handled by our payment partners (Lemon Squeezy and/or Stripe), who collect and process your payment details under their own policies. We never see your full card number. For manual JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast, bank, Payoneer or Wise payments we keep the transaction reference, your name and the email or WhatsApp number you send us, so we can check the payment and send your licence key. When you send these details on WhatsApp or by email, that service also handles the message under its own policy. Your licence key is saved only in your own browser (local storage); on our server, keys are stored only as a one-way hash.
7. Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage is used only for the features described above.
We use Google AdSense to show ads on free pages. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. Our own pages use local storage only for the features described above.
8. Retention and your rights
Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, support and fraud prevention. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold (for example an order contact) by emailing . Where local law gives you additional rights, we will honour them.
9. Children
Kitwise is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
