Opens in its own window with an icon on your desktop, taskbar or home screen. Free, small, and always up to date.

Use the browser tools offline

The PDF, Word/Excel/PowerPoint to PDF, image, video and audio, text, developer, calculator and QR tools run on your device. Prepare them once and they keep working on a plane, in a village with weak signal, or when your internet is down. Only the AI tools, OCR, Web to PDF and the website audit need a connection to the Kitwise server.

Desktop shortcuts

Download a shortcut file and drop it on your desktop. Double-click opens that part of Kitwise in your default browser (Windows .url files; they also work on most Linux desktops).

Search from the address bar

Add Kitwise as a search engine and type a task straight into your browser.

  1. Chrome / Edge: Settings → Search engine → Manage search engines → Add.
  2. Name: Kitwise, shortcut: kw
  3. URL:

Then type kw, press Tab and what you want to do, such as “merge pdf” or “qr”.
